I thnk what slightly concerns me is that Moder, Karbownik, Connolly, Molumby, Caicedo, Khadra, and Zeqiri - and you can add Alzate and now Sarmiento to that list - are young players mostly bought (at no little expense in some cases) 'for the future' - we're going to have trouble fitting them all...
We'll see. This is a Mlakar thread - but as far as AC is concerned, the level he goes on loan to doesn't matter, so long as he can get his goal-scoring mojo back!
So now he'll be back at Brighton for pre-season while we decide what to do with him for the last year of his contract. 10 goals in 14 looks good, but it was for a team that was winning a league which makes the SPL look positively competitive.
My betting the best outcome will be a loan-to-buy...
Agreed. It generally seems that a loan abroad indicates they're not coming back. Sold or released at the end if the loan, but hopefully still with a career in football.
Don't think that's relevant at all in Mlakar's case. If he's not considered ready to play in The Championship he's not ready to be a 4th. striker in the PL, regardless of how many strikers we may or may not have.
Clearly the loan to QPR is doing no good for him or the Albion, so recall him in...
