No, it was a response to bhanutz's post about two centre backs being close. Whether you meant to or not, it seemed like you were questioning whether we were signing centre backs. Goldson wasn't mentioned in his post as far as I can see.

Agree with this. I think some people on here give the club no credit and just assume they are stupid. They are aware of the number of centre backs we have (more than we are as they know how near Goldson is to full fitness). Any news on the new centre backs?

Agree with the valuation but I imagine the club would be aware of the issue and looking to sign centre backs. Maybe we'll get a centre back as part of the deal.

£10 million is about right for Dunk. He's our best centre half but is also still a bit of a liability in terms of diving in and getting red cards. There is no way we should even consider selling him until we have signed two new centre backs and Goldson is fit again.

Agree Evans is far better than Elphick. Would be very surprised if West Brom let him go. Thought he was first choice last year.

Surprised as West Brom have a number of centre backs. Wonder if we can try to get one of them in exchange e.g. James Chester. Looked good for Wales in the Euros.
