I think relatively few thought GM would play as much as he did last season. Andone had three excellent matches and many poor ones. Locadia was similar. Jahanbaksh also apparently play off the main striker but he had about three excellent minutes last season.
I thought Propper was one of our better players last season. Suspect reason he plays a more withdrawn role is that Groß plays ahead of him and we lack pace all over the park so players are deeper as a result.
Propper was injured in October and didn’t look as good on his return although his assist for Groß’s goal at OT was sublime. Izquierdo was injured all season, agree that Montoya was rarely more than 6/10 but is that attitude or ability?
2017/18 as 2018/19 figures won’t be released for months. However, of the clubs promoted for 2018/19 Wolves and Fulham both had bigger budgets than the Albion and Cardiff smaller is my understanding.
