Seems a bit of a pointless system to have at the club then, if it can only award loyalty points and keep track exclusively via away ticket sales, which are practically non-existant other than for these type of games. Loyalty points has never once been mentionde by the club, so its clearly a...
3 big games in 6 years is not "often enough", in my opinion, to justify an all-singing all-dancing away attendance computerized recording system to sort the ticketing.
You've got STH's, then a two-tiered membership scheme. That should suffice.
However, where I think the club HAVE dropped a...
The clamour for the Luton / Man City tickets was nothing like the ones for Spurs / West Ham and now Villa though. I don't recall people falling over themselves to sign up to or upgrade their membership for a chance of a ticket for Luton or Man City (probably because the Villa tickets are so...
Its hardly 1-2 games a YEAR now is it.
The only time these binfests have come about in recent memory is the Spurs game and the West Ham game. Thats what, 2 games in the last 5 years ?
True. Those joining the membership schemes now and (presumably) getting exactly the same chance of a ticket as someone who's been an away member for years is a bit wonky, I have to agree with that.
What else are they supposed to do then, for a game like this that might come up every 2-3 years ? They've prioritised STH's first, and there are then two further optional tiered membership schemes to gain priority for tickets when demand might outstrip supply. Its then left up to the fans to...
Its not like the club have sprung this system on us overnight though is it. If you want to make sure you've got the best chance for your kids to get a ticket when a massive game like this comes along, then you've got to sort out a membership for them. Its no use bleating about losing them to...
Bollocks. Why should a kiddy on a one-off day trip to the biggest game of the season get priority over a white member who goes up and down the country all season to some of the shitholes of the division ?
Sure, ideally the kids would also get to go to these games, but when demand is high and...
mmm...not sure ONE day for STH's to snort their tickets is entirely workable.
Processing 4,000-odd apps in the space of a day seems a tad ambitious, given our current setup.
I'm not so sure we would have sold out if the tickets weren't so dirt cheap. I think I paid £36 for Spurs a few years ago - not convinced we'd sell 6k at Villa if they were asking those kind of prices, or even £25/£30.
£10 though, its a no-brainer.
Put my Gold application (6 tickets) through the door on Saturday.
I've got some white member mates as well, but they're sorting out their own application. No WAY was I hanging back on my Gold to go in with the white stampede on Wednesday. Whats the point of risking it ? We can still travel...
