Rubbish !! .. Only 33% of the drivers voted to support the deal ..28% didn`t vote (no one knows whether they support deal or not).

Simple mathematics, no logic required ...54% of the 72% who voted,voted against...... Therefore only 38.88% voted to scupper deal ..

Hope for Commuters sake you are right....However lets wait and see what some of the more militant among NSC have to say !!

So less than 40% voted to reject deal...pretty sure the remaining 28% don`t want to strike .

Agree if they begrudgingly return...How about if they went back to work, wanting to work,wanting to help improve service, willing to work overtime...going that extra mile to help passengers !!!

All this fuss caused by whether guards are needed to shut doors on trains, yet we are now testing driverless cars. A train only needs to start and stop..It`s on a rail FFS..Driverless trains must be the answer!!!

So by going on strike over who closes doors are the Union/Workforce doing their bit to improve situation?

Not at all... I feel that, as do most sensible people, change is inevitable and this strike is trying to stop progress.
