Agree with every word of that. I was blubbing along with the ladies too. Amazing performances all round - especially Sophie Ellis Bextor as that racist bitch. Yes 20 minutes or so too long - I needed 'Help' getting out of my seat by the end my botty cheeks were so numb! :)
Just ordered this little monkey off of scAmazon. Film about Columbian drug mules. The only award it hasn't won is the Uncle Spielberg Movie-mongous Statuetta (a seven inch high gold-plated Uncle)... although it has been shortlisted apparently.
Mesrine 1 and 2 on DVD starring La Haine's Vincent Cassel - encroyable true story of the notorious Paris gangster Jacques Mesrine - at a mere fiver on scAmazon for both films you'd be une imbecile to miss out.

Submarine - 7.9
**Spolier warning**
T'uther half and I both loved it, fantastic cinematography, very funny "Well it was only a hand job" and other great awkward parent/teen interaction. The story was true to the book to a large extent, although would have liked his reunion with 'fat' Zoe to...
Animal Kingdom - simply one of the best films that I have ever seen. Somewhere between Australia's Pulp Fiction, Crash and Goodfellas. The quality of every actor/actress on screen is outstanding, as is the cinematography and direction, the plot, the soundtrack - everything about it is just...
Game of opinions Mellotron, Kings Speech was excellent and deserves everything it gets, but Inception was self-indulgent toilet and a complete borefest (in my opinion)
The King's Speech (again) - the closing scene where the 'royals' are waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony looking out at the crowds outside the gates and up The Mall - surely CGI etc. but incredibly realistic, anyone know how they did that bit?
Amazing to see the bloke from La Haine in Black Swan. At first I thought it was Tricky Dicky from Eastenders:
Vincent Cassel:
Tricky Dicky:
Black Swan was 'okaaay' but if I had my time again I probably wouldn't have bothered. Watching latecomers battling to find seats together at the sold...
Everyone who lives in Eastbourne got a part, my sister is in it as a fish and chip seller on the pier.
Uncle, is it true you're appearing in the eagerly anticipated 'Black Swan'? Release date later this month and one I will definately be going to see.
