I think you're going by the scores that it SAYS you get. They're wrong, cjd's individual shot scoring figures are correct. (A bit like it doesn't tell you about the '20 shot maximum' rule)

I'm interested in this '20 shot' thing. So what you're saying is that no matter how many times you score you can only ever have a maximum of 20? That explains why I get down to 1, score and it still says "The whistle blows ..."

Jeez there are some good scores. I got a 90000-something and thought I wouldn't see it as it would be on the 'missing' second page - but it was way down!

Cheers for the advice, I'll give your 'i and o' a go cjd. Didn't realise holding the mouse down made a difference! You've got to get to a certain minimum score: 30,000 in Europe and 40,000 in the league. You then have to risk a proportion of your points on a penalty kick. EDIT: Should have...

Right, I'm getting seriously pissed off with my complete inability to take penalties. At first I though I'd sussed it by shooting at a specific time (when the bar is between the 'i' and 'r' of 'Direction' if aiming to the left) which put it in the corner - but recently these have all been saved...

Blimey, how many points have Rangers got? If this was a 'real' season they'd have given them the Championship along with the Christmas presents. Hanging onto 2nd place now against a determined challenge from Barnet.

Don't really like the new version, much prefer the classic, but I've played a bit today. And on the new version has any one else noticed that sometimes you can score on your 'last' shot (e.g. when you only have one life left), and it still says 'Game over'?

I think 'Bob' and 'CJD' must take most of the credit. Did a PB myself of 134k this week, but earlier today I missed six penalties in a row!

Don't bother with that one, stick to the Classic. It's only available Monday to Wednesday so you can do some work on Thursday and Friday! Couple more players and we could make a good bid for promotion next 'season', think we came fourth this last week.
