I didn't bother with round 2 because I struck gold in the first round.
When I say 'struck gold' I mean I got one set of tickets out of 25-30 applied for and, as such, are deemed b LOCOG to be such a WINNER that I can't take place in round 2 until such time as there is nothing left.
Has there been any discussion about whether re-sale of Olympics tix will be illegal like football tickets are?
If not, it's going to be an eBay binfest to all ticketing binfests.

Yep - my CC statement came yesterday and they've taken the money. I can't seem to get to a 'my account' page on their site now so can't see what that says - I might give them a ring.
The application process has been an absolute farce. Sure, it would have been complicated but they've had a lot of time and and a lot of money to get this right.
There are a group of very obvious marquee events and there should have been the options to select as many of those as you wanted with...

I suspect what we will find out, in due course when the 2nd round sale happens, is that low level pricing tickets for a lot of low-key events have gone, leaving some ridiculously-over-priced ones left for those who want to try and just see something.
You can legitimately buy from Denmark's ticket allocation here again now - they're reopened their shop - some decent athletics and diving events available it seems
