I didn't bother with round 2 because I struck gold in the first round. When I say 'struck gold' I mean I got one set of tickets out of 25-30 applied for and, as such, are deemed b LOCOG to be such a WINNER that I can't take place in round 2 until such time as there is nothing left.

Has there been any discussion about whether re-sale of Olympics tix will be illegal like football tickets are? If not, it's going to be an eBay binfest to all ticketing binfests.

Sorry - only just seen this. Yep - my CC statement came yesterday and they've taken the money. I can't seem to get to a 'my account' page on their site now so can't see what that says - I might give them a ring.

Depending on what you applied for, and the monetary value deducted from your card, you may be able to deduce what you got. Certainly the case for me.

Any of the European Union agents, listed here - Ticket eligibility, should sell to the UK without a problem.

The application process has been an absolute farce. Sure, it would have been complicated but they've had a lot of time and and a lot of money to get this right. There are a group of very obvious marquee events and there should have been the options to select as many of those as you wanted with...

I suspect what we will find out, in due course when the 2nd round sale happens, is that low level pricing tickets for a lot of low-key events have gone, leaving some ridiculously-over-priced ones left for those who want to try and just see something.

£126 / £3500 is some way short of your third. (And we did play 'honestly' - we'd have made the Olympics our holiday next year)

Sorry chaps - I got on and ordered some athletics finals tickets that were showing as 'available'. That message indicates I won't actually get them.

They have some VERY good athletics tickets including £50 tickets for quite a few finals nights.

You can legitimately buy from Denmark's ticket allocation here again now - they're reopened their shop - some decent athletics and diving events available it seems London 2012 Ticket Request Tool | Sportsworld

...although I guess they're not too bad since that the day of the mens 4s final. Only 1 event though - time to get onto the Germany/Denmark sites.
