Indeed - if the price is right we sell. But not for the derisory( insulting) figures coming out of Selhurst at present.
Palace are not the only PL team interested !!
I actually think you are right.
Whilst you may not get permission for all the alternatives, I reckon there is plenty of scope for redeveloping Selhurst, which I'm sure Parish and co are looking at.
Assuming you don't rotate the pitch, the 2 side stands look in most need of redevelopment...
Not strange at.
Murray wasn't our player anymore when he joined you ( out of contract ).
We wanted rid of Dobbie.
Bridcutt we don't want to sell.
Why is the difference so difficult to grasp ?
8 fans turning up to a meet a player evening at Selhurst is pretty poor no matter how you try to talk up the palace support.
Maybe this is the palace core :lolol:
He he. I think Parish is the 'unrealistic' one. It looks like a host of Premier League teams will be in a bidding war, and as we know, the value of a player is what someone will pay for him, not some derisory offer from South London :lolol:
It's not like we want or have to sell him.
No. The last 8.5 million loss was for the year before before Barber arrived, before the 8000 extra seats, before the increased travel levy, before Azure catering were kicked out to increase the albion cut of food and drink, before the new Amex sponsorship etc. etc.
Well of course the parachute payments are a big advantage, but that's the gap Paul Barber has to bridge with his commercial partnerships and sponsorships.
Also it can't be overlooked that these extra 37,000 do not buy one single replica shirt, or pint, or pie. Ever.
I think Palace clearly want Liam Bridcutt, but their fans seem to be quoting too low a fee.
I'm sure he'd jump at a chance to play in the Premier League, so the best outcome for us is a bidding war between Premier League teams, with Palace losing out.
If he is sold, and it is as the above - point 2 is very important - then we can use his fee to seriously bolster our budget under FPP and maybe build a top 2 side.
