I've been a big supporter of the Croc but the Polar Bear is a fearsome predator and a proper nawty boy. Nothing really deters a Polar Bear apart fom a high powered hunting rifle. I might wait a bit a read some well reasoned arguments for both before casting my vote..... EDIT * well...

The Croc ''can'' go a year with out eating, that doesn't mean that it does. If it hasn't eaten for a week it still has the hardness and strength to take down a buffalo for a spot of breakfast . The HB would be a bag of bones or someones else' s lunch if it didn't eat for a week.

Well I've seen lots of pics of women and children stroking and cuddling the HB. Not seen anyone petting a croc yet.
