As I said managers today but for the 2 mentioned you could name numerous defenders or midfielders. The only one I can think of is Mark Hughes obviously if you gio back to the like of Dalgleish Revie but they like the others were exceptions. It is also worth noting that they all managed...
I think that Theo Walcott , Oxo Chamber pot and Luke Shaw are good examples of what the academy has done for Southampton if we can follow suit we will benefit but possibly not during my life time but hopefully so.
Manager, assistant and 1st coach all defenders but other than Mark Hughes I am struggling to think of a decent present day manager who was a striker a few midfielders but not strikers.
That is very reassuring and has cheered me up immensely, I wish you had posted earlier. At least they appreciate the supporters concerns and the facts that mistakes have been made.
We are 'Premiership ready' except on the pitch. in 5 or 6 positions. What a player or manager earns is no concern of mine but are we competitive with other clubs, that is more important, I dont know.

Sorry if that is how you have read it. This is just how it appears to me with the continuance of the abysmal season with no signs of improvement or apparent pressure exerted on the team or manager. Obviously we are not privy to what CH may have been told but there is no indication of...
Questioned on here by a minority of the total support and on a small local radio station. . I dont know what their listening figures are but I dont know anybody who listens to it. That is not knocking the station as they probably do a good job but are not indictive of general support.
I accept what you are saying but does any owner of a football club expect to make a profit. NO as they always said about pubs you can make a small fortune in one but nowadays it costs a big fortune to make it.
That short term will be 2.15 till 2.30 on 2nd May after which they will be saying look how much we will make if we are challenging for promotion next season.
Why do we appear to be the only club that has suffered because of FFP and others with smaller crowds less Sky revenue for televised games etc have prospered.
