It was a good gig, don't attend many events these days when I am on the younger side of the audience.
For a guy who is 68, I believe he put on a great show with a very good backing band. The only slightly pretentious thing was do you really need to put up on the video screen all the balls...
Why does no-one ever learn the Stadium catering is sh1te, there are more than enough threads match day stating this.
Had a superb Uncle Sams pre-match so no need to waste time and money to be disappointed.
Impossible to run trains every 5 minutes on the current railway unless block signalling is introduced. Still if you know best I am sure Network Rail would welcome your views.
You must have been at a different gig last night, there were extra trains and the service was fine even to the point of a ticket inspection at Falmer on arrival.
Honestly not sure, possibly 25,000, Rod really is a good performer but it did seem to end very quickly. Oh and Mrs Stewart passed us on the pitch on her way to the directors box. Their two kids "performed" during one song.
Had this not been at the Amex I would not have bothered, I have seen Rod a few times around 25 or so years ago so will be interesting to see what he is like live now plus the more important bonus of it being at the Amex.
Wasn't the Fat Boy Slim concert a total shambles on catering ?
