Is it possible that Liverpool have got a good deal (they clearly have) and that Bloom and Barber got the best deal they could in the circumstances (without the benefit of hindsight, and given their track record, this is likely)?

It's true because the reality in which we live and the players play make it true! People (and players) haven't 'decided' Liverpool are bigger than us, people have looked at the different metrics used to measure the size of clubs and counted. It can't stop because it comes down to simple maths...
