Right mind? I am sure you didn't mean this as it sounds but let's be clear autism is a different mind not a wrong one. Small but really important distinction for a lot of people.

It does seem rather odd. I am a bit stuck on the idea that the poster can tell who is faking and who isn't. It's not call a hidden disability for nothing. If people are lying about their kid's autism for personal gain that is terrible of course but perhaps there is more to it.

Glad to hear he is doing well. My old school did some great work teaching kids about neurodiversity. It was really powerful to give kids the knowledge to understand each other. Some great resources around too. Education is the way forward IMHO.

The post was asking about if autistic adults were a thing. The reply stated that NBs wife worked with autistic adults, therefore they exist. It is totally enough of an explanation. I really don't get what is so difficult/funny about this.
