Not sure that's exactly news. It's been referenced many times this season that he was offered a contract and hasn't signed it, and has informed the opinion of some people who have taken the 'sell him rather than miss out in the summer' attitude.

Probably won't stop some people writing off new signings after a couple of lat sub appearances in games that are already over ad contests.

Even then you won't have an accurate picture until new signings have settled in and shown their true worth.
