If you'd have taken the poll after the Gillingham game, when Hendo's brilliant keeping was the main reason for the 3pts, then the result would have been very different. As we all know, NSC polls are only ever a referendum on the last game.

That's my bottom line too - people waste acres of cyberspace on here about the importance of man management and the importance of consistency of selection. McGhee has a challenge now that a few fans are getting on Hendo's back, even quite a few, and I hope McGhee rises to that challenge.

It's not just 8 months ago, it's Kuipers last game but one. It's important to bring it up because there is this myth going around that Kuipers has some papal infallibility in goal and never makes errors. Respectfully, bollocks!

That's not what the distribution debate has really ever been about though, it's more Hendo's quick throws that start our counterattacks that gives him the edge over Kuipers. Kuipers is poor at judging those, remember the goal at Sheff Utd in January that Kuipers blamed Lynch for.

Fair play to Hendo, I think he has according to something someone said on SCR. It's just a shame fans got on his back from the first whistle. I'm sure he can hear that support :(

Hendo had a nervous game today but I think McGhee has to back his guy, so I will vote for Hendo for now. But Kuipers has his chance next week and good luck to him, if he plays outstandingly well, then we'll see. That would be a better time to take this poll. BTW - there was a point blank save...
