Yeah, I assume if a sale to Tony was ever possible he thought nearly £17m plus the cash needed to build a hotel or carpark on it was not value for money. Or maybe the Bennett's asking price was even higher in previous years.

I thought the club never had the chance to buy it or the Bennetts were holding out for a ridiculous sum of money, which maybe they finally got from the student housing company.

The terrace, the upgraded club shop, the new coach park steps, the north stand new seating/bar, and the potential new car park... the continued investment is pretty impressive. Just need to find somewhere for a huge multi-storey car park for fan use. & a monorail.

I guess it makes the car parking in that bit next to bennetts field free for use of this hotel they wanted to build, if thats still something they want to do. Also, does anyone know the latest on the student housing going into bennetts field?

Does the club own the bridge car park land or do they just lease the car park on match days?

I wonder what that will mean for the current bit of car park the club own next to bennetts field, and the grass bank next to it. A hotel still an option?
