[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

Yep, he’s in the WSU now but not quite as vocal.

That wasn’t quite my point but I didn’t put it over clearly. I’d like the simpler, better known songs for home games, for the reasons you state but a wider range away. Atmosphere isn’t just singing though. Getting in the ref’s ear, putting off away players could all be better. We’re too nice.

Yeah he did and that’s disgraceful too. Never see that sort at an away game funnily enough.

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

This. And today the WSU started the West Stand / North Stand sing and were ignored by the North. Let’s face it, the real story is there are too many egos in the two singing groups to ever join in with each other, let alone another stand’s song, lots of pensioners on cheap tickets and too many...

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

That’s probably true at home but no one had a problem with more difficult songs in Amsterdam

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

Nearly. I’m just annoyed it’s not loud enough.

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

We’re in a group of 7. Not only would everyone have to agree but we’d have to find 7 Werthers suckers sat near each other in the north to replace. And most of my other mates are in WSU too. Atmosphere is just fine where we are anyway but I can’t imagine someone starting a song in WSU and be...

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

So the singing should be led by fans near the press box and not by the people who are allowed to stand up so they sing louder?

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

I could pick half a dozen posts to quote but I’ll just say this instead. In every football club in the top four divisions I can think of the home “end” leads the singing and everyone else round the sides joins in. Sound won’t project from the back of the WSU back to an end, it has to start there...

WSU. No team ever in the history of football has had the singing led from the top tier of the main stand.

    The “NSK”. *taps nose*

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

It’s really not. RDZ called for extra effort and our end and our ultras delivered a library

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

Exactly this. Too many in there for cheap tickets instead of singing and too much rivalry between the two main groups.

[Albion] Outbreak of laryngitis in the north stand?

You get the ‘end’, the cheap tickets, the chance to call yourselves things like “NSK”, more bars and the legacy of the Goldstone north. You lead, we follow. That’s the deal.

What a pathetic half of “support”.
