Rishi seem to have pretty poor judgement.
This appointment error is unraveling this morning:
“Rishi Sunak is facing claims he knew Sir Gavin Williamson was facing a complaint of bullying the day before he appointed him a cabinet minister.” BBC
It’s my belief that Priti had ‘something on Mr Johnson’ and had probably threatened him with it; that ‘something’ could have been one of dozens of ****-ups by the liar. I believe that she was untouchable for Mr Johnson despite his urges.
Credit to Rishi Rich (where it is due).
He appears to have u-turned Truss’ attempt to stop the fracking ban which itself was a u-turn of the Tory manifesto. Well done to him if that is the case.
Actually, I have to say, I was surprised at how good she is at TV presenting compared to her ability at being a politician. She’ll surely find employment at GB news when she gets the kick at the next election?
It’s just really bad judgement from the off from Rishi. Really sad.
Like Patel, Braverman is all about pulling up the rope ladder that saw her family get into this country in the first place. We can’t fill our job vacancies, Braverman is all about making that worse rather than better. A leader...
Horrid ****!
He even retracted his accusation that ‘billionaire Sunak is a socialist’ in the telegraph this morning stating ‘he’d do whatever the prime minister wanted him to do’.
But still got his privileged ass sacked the ****!
Four quick positives for the country:
1. First British Asian PM
2. It’s not Johnson
3. It’s not Truss
4. The markets seem to have confidence in him.
That’s about it for good news.
It’s Rishi as the Penny drops!
I imagine she’ll claim she had ninety something backers but we’ll never know because she has just used the withdrawal method.
You do realise that Boris is well on course to lose his seat by a considerable amount in the next election? Unless he moves constituency, he’ll not actually be a sitting MP which will make leading the party extremely difficult. I’m sure that his current constituency members are well aware of his...
I wonder how many first time Labour voters in places like Burnley will be backing Sunak? He hits a completely different target in terms of popular support.
In a last desperate attempt to attract his backers,
Penny comes up with this BS about Johnson:
“Mordaunt, who currently has 25 backers, tweeted: “In taking this difficult decision last night Boris Johnson has put country before party, and party before self.
"He worked to secure the mandate and...
Apparently, Penny Mordaunt has been offered a top job (chancellor you would assume) by Boris to stand down and pull her support behind him. I believe that she has politely declined for now.
