Ha ha! It was 1963, and I was 5. I wasn't allowed to watch it initially as my parents thought it was too frightening for kids, so I missed the first few episodes. It was the day after the assassination. In the afternoon the Albion beat Torquay 4-0 in division 4 :thumbsup:

Wow. You have missed out. Seriously. First watched it in 1963. For me it is as iconic as MOTD, The John Peel programmes, and The Albion. I shit you not.

Never heard of him, which is a definite plus with Dr Whos, as they are not already imprinted as another character. Star of radio comedy (Pertwee - I ask you). Tom Baker - never heard of him and he was great.
