Apologies for my ignorance, is this a detachable piece with which I should give the 'cap' a push? If so would a screwdriver or a particuarly firm finger suffice? Thanks, I'd give you the thumbs up but it only seems to give me the option to 'thumb-down' posts

Just the usual petrol, did only try the one pump however, maybe a fault 'their' end?

Hi, Thank's for taking the time to read this post! I've just tried to fill upp my car but was unable to get the petrol nosel due to the presence of this silver metal cover? I've tried turning the car on/off and messing around with some WD40 but it's not budging! Does anyone know how to fix this...
