Doesn't always work that way though does it? So many players have shown great promise in their early twenties, but then faded into obscurity without ever reaching their prime.
I hope he has learned from the experience, but it hasn't necessarily ruined his career. He is lucky, he is still very young, but he hasn't become a bad player overnight, and even if he has to restart his career in League One, or even Two, he can still come good given time.
I've been saying the self same thing in other threads over the past couple of months, Dunky or Rohan Ince. Every one thinks l'm MAD! Nice to know l'm not the only one on NSC with such wild inconsidered views.
