iOS 7.0.2 now out fixing the swipe screen security hole, and bringing back a Greek keyboard or something. Only a minute or so to download, couple of minutes to install.
I was downloading through iTunes. Disconnected, plugged my iPad into the mains socket, started download, done within the hour. Put iPod in the docking station and it has now finished updating and I can get to sleep and enjoy the new ios7 tomorrow.
Screw this. Giving up for the evening. Will give it a go on the docking station over night, if that doesn't work through itunes at some point tomorrow.
I don't know. With the itunes store it goes by where your credit card is billing address is (or used to), so you might be able to, but I suspect it's more about device location with the radio.
Updated itunes, including laptop restart. Tried to update ipad through itunes, got an error message. Tried the ipod, started then stopped. Tried ipod again, got a message telling me I didn't have permission. Restarted laptop again, now downloading (*touch wood*). Time remaining steadied around...
Getting an error on my ipad download (have turned it off, just about to turn it on again). iTunes telling me my ipod touch is up to date. Grr.
EDIT: Turning off and on again didn't help. Will leave it for a while (assuming too many people downloading).
