cheers for that mate. in the shop it was playing my cd's on a £750 quid cd player compared to my pioneer cdj 350 via a mixer . i bought the same cables as in the demo room and my speakers are also tight against the wall. all of that will make a difference but not as much as i thought . also...

well after all that i plumped for my original idea from richer sounds . they dont sound as good as in the shop nor as loud . the chap said i needed to bed them in . does this really make such a difference? they were mind boggling in the shop but definitely not as good as at home .

did you go to the one in brighton? i think the reigate one is closer to me . i think i saw on their website theyll beat any offer you can find on the web

i think i got it in the late 90's so bloody ages (has a dual tape deck)!!. never had a problem with it either thats why ive never really thought about buying anything else but i think i really need to upgrade by now

i bought the cdj 350's with djm 350 mixer and flightcase for £1000 they were 6 months old and in really good nick. have a look on ebay for a rough guide. music i go for most of the time is dark psytrance and some pretty hard techno and drum and bass. thats why i ws looking at the tannoy mercury...
