I do agree however there will be some people (and Im not counting yourself) who would moan even if the club gave them a free ticket personally delivered to their front door because it was given to them in the wrong hand.
It IS however up to the club to make sure that casual fans are fully aware...
On the trains point why cant we have 8 or 12 carriages at the designated times?
The reason I say this is because some stations like Balcombe, Faygate, Littlehaven, Lancing etc etc you get a message saying you need to be in the front 4 or rear 8 coaches (or whatever) if you wish to get off at...
There you go...
So this means that we will have a situation where you may have to wait for a train, like you do at many London away games. Thats fair enough.
You know what the trouble is that we WILL have a half empty stadium for most games so people will think they can turn up on the day.
If (hopefully when) we return to the days of sold out - due to 000s of season ticket holders, maybe even a waiting list, prawn sandwich eaters, corporates then...
To be honest the best solution is to have a ticket booth at the ground (or two or three or whatever) like Millwall do. Or the club shop at the ground like Sarfend.
I think as long as its publicised how to buy tickets then it shouldn't be a problem.
Trouble is the marketing for the club has been shit for years and hopefully with it being "under new management" this may change.
I mean I bet even the decide on the day crew dont know you can get a ticket on...
