Nah - don't think he's international standard. He's been a steady performer for Sussex, and he's no worse than people like Bicknell and Hoggard... but good enough for England?

Well said. Sussex weren't afraid to be daring in their declarations last year, and look what they achieved! A draw is useless to the Windies.
(But well done Lara though - a great albeit slightly selfish achievement).
Amazing how some people seem genuinely upset by Sussex's success.
Our good friends from up the coast have been at it now - in the words of Fulton, the Kent captain:

I read in the Observer yesterday that Mushy receives £400 for each wicket taken as part of his pay package. By my calculation this has earned just shy of £40k this year. Nice work if you can get it!
It also confirmed the story on here last week that Lewry receives £2 for each run above 10...
