I should have said that I broadly concur with all that @Sussexscots says about the pubs in Leith. The shore is great and there is a pub/restaurant there called The Shore which is top notch. Carriers Quarters is a brilliant boozer.

As a member of the Foundation of Hearts, I will be voting yes on this proposal. Difficult to see the downside of it, although there are some doubting Thomases. My view is that, given his husbandry of BHA and the success he has had at USG, it's a no-brainer for HMFC.

Played pretty well tonight. Our manager was far too negative against a really poor Celtic side but Alex did everything asked of him. Tenacious and got up and down the pitch really well.

I agree it's going to take two to three years to get in to the EU again but there is a genuine enthusiasm in Scotland for the European project and I think the EU would be very happy with a base in Scotland for a free trade deal with rUK if the Tories ever agree to one.
