Completely agree.
So many goals this season are very memorable.
I think it's helped by the fact so many players have scored them. It helps you separate them.
If all your goals come from one player, they stand out less.
More of this next season please.
8.
It's down from 9 as:
- Nervousness for Europe and games today.
- Already loads of news about other clubs taking our players. I completely trust Tony/Barber on this, but it will be sad to see players like Mitoma go (IF he does).
But will easily be at a 9 or 10 for next season if keep signing...
It's only right being a Brighton fan that I'm nervous for today.
Spurs on the beach? Us odds on favourites? Yep, these are the banana skin games we so often end up losing (since forever, not specifically under FH).
It's the hope that kills you. My head knows this should be a good win and we...
Amazing to see new signings in key positions being announced before this current season has even ended. 🎉
Great news this one.🙌
Although... slightly confused we've signed a player for a gap in the team, instead of signing a bunch of more wingers and number 10s. Or young upcoming goalkeepers.
This guy's touch and ball control is unreal.
You could see the squad already thought this, from his earlier cameo appearances where they let him take freekicks.
But my word, today...
I said a few weeks back I wanted him to start in place of O'Riley. Gruda with regular game time and connection...
Top performance from the bossman today. The right calls at the right time.
Took a good risk bringing on those two youngsters at the end there - but instant impact.
Not sure if we play Wieffer in right back as he's match sharp, or Velts for being a dedicated RB.
I'd assume the latter, but Fab has been complementary of Wieffer in that position...
Interesting take. In my head Gruda earned a start ahead of O'Riley in the next game, but you're probably right that whilst it would be more attacking, we might lose something out of possession.
Once we see the next match day squad we'll see how Fab sees it. If O'Riley starts then he's...
I rate him, but I do think he's still liable to the odd clanger.
Had a misplaced pass in the Wolves game which thankfully they didn't make anything of.
Not sure if that's down to injuries and guiding a new player into a new team/league.
Since Matts has been getting regular starts, we've had Beleba as a centre back, or Matts has been at right back. Not had the chance to see them both in midfield yet.
We'll find out next season I guess.
This is all down to peoples definitions.
For me, to really be a proper Brighton legend you have to spend a good part of your best years here.
It comes down to at the end of your career, do people picture you as a player in the Brighton kit or another teams?
Caisado one of the best to put on a...
Yeah, it's such a shame. Not sure what we do with him. He's just not at the races these days.
Might just not be the right player for and our system these days.
Correct, Wieffer right back, with Lamptey more as a winger.
But they were very flexible at times, so you'd sometimes see Lamptey in the end of the back four in some defensive phases or when Wieffer was up the pitch.
Wieffer was also instructed to man mark, so for the first goal was chasing...
Should start ahead of O'Riley for me.
A couple of the passes/balls he pulled off under pressure were incredible.
He's a real talent who has a lot of potential.
Needs minutes and to make some more mistakes to learn from.
Will be a star I think.
Agree with a lot of these recent comments.
I like him and he puts himself about, but needs to show a bit more. He probably needs time but I can't see how he gets it now.
As I said before the game, it felt like one he had to deliver on. He's had a real run in the side to show what he's about...
