*** Official Album of the Year 2015 Thread ***

This was a great year for new music. If I had to pick a top 10 (and believe me, I could do a top 50), they would be: The Mountain Goats - Beat The Champ And So I Watch You From Afar - Heirs Titus Andronicus - The Most Lamentable Tragedy Lil Dicky - Professional Rapper Chon - Grow Carly Rae...

    [Albion] Miller Bolanos

Bolanos was pretty good in MLS with Chivas USA. And that's saying a lot because he played for Chivas USA....

goal scorers who may become available from MLS for the run in.

Couldn't find the previous Zardes thread from August(?), but was just reading a SportsIllustrated article saying that a Championship club has a $3m (USD) offer on the table for him. Could be us perhaps? I can say "us", right...

Oh snap, I think an east-coast meet up at Foleys needs to happen this season.

    The United States of America

Oh man. Well, let's hope that by the end of the season we'll have a good reason to all get together to watch a big game... if you catch my drift...

    The United States of America

Welcome to our nation's political speed bump--the one thing that stops anyone from implementing effective change in Washington. And yet we accept it as a necessary evil and continue to play passive-aggressive media games in an endless loop.

    The United States of America

Yeah it is very cool. It's mostly a student neighborhood being that it's so central to all the big universities. Great bars and restaurants and stuff. If you're ever in town again for the marathon or otherwise, let me know!

I've never lived in Brighton, MA but it *is* a big neighborhood of Boston and I frequent it often. That said, it was never because of *this* Brighton that I got to following the Albion. At least not consciously.

    The United States of America

For no good reason really. I remember watching the 2012-13 Championship playoffs and liking the way they played and kind of pulling for them I suppose. I learned more about the club and then watched some games the following season (no easy task over here) and before I knew it I felt pretty...

    The United States of America

As a resident of the US, I can say that we are definitely a backwards nation. But it's worth noting that our country is so big, many regions are really quite different--which I'm sure you already all know. I live in Boston and it is truly worlds apart on lots of things that the media relays...

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Bristol City *** Official Match Thread ***

Anybody know where an American who doesn't feel like getting any work done this afternoon can catch a stream online? Would love to watch and not just listen via BBC Sussex.

    Who will replace Kayal ?

I think Ince could slot into the 4-4-2 without much issue. I see Stephens as typically playing a bit safer and dropping a bit deeper to allow Kayal to be more of an attacking catalyst, but Stephens can play that role as well. So, in my mind, Ince plays the Stephens safe role and Stephens shifts...
