Had a pair of Arsenal fans next to me in the WSU (one had an Arsenal background on his phone). He started filming the Saka penalty so just before he kicked it I, rather aggressively, nudged his arm messing up his video. The pair then left on 35 mins, didn't come back until 55 mins and then...
Apologies, I am not in the office today to spy on them. I am jet lagged to hell and have been up since 3AM so I am praying for some excitement tonight to keep me awake
I really bloody hope this doesn't happen. Got a Boca shirt and shorts when I was over there a few years ago (don't worry, I don't wear them together so I'm not a full kit ✊🍆💦) and I wear the shorts to the gym all the time. I couldn't wear them again if they are owned by someone connected to that...
Did Marseille and Athens, both unforgettable trips.
Marseille was great for it being our first European away trip and all the chaos that went on with the fans. Felt a bit more constricted on what we could/couldn't do for our time there but the Velodrome...wow. What a stadium and have never heard...
I don't know why you responded "No". All those options get you to the ground. If you've ever tried to get a bus from St.Peters Church when no trains are on then, unless you get there super early, the buses sometimes come past full up. Old Steine gives you a better chance but you do you
This is what we're doing too. Filthy cheap flights doing it that way.
We are just deciding where to head into Milan or get a lounge pass for those 6 hours and try not to get kicked out from the free booze...
Picked up a pair! Absolutely buzzing for it now. Been checking regularly in case more pop up. I do wonder where these tickets come from. I guess some people unable to go now?
We went last year. Very easy to get tickets, you just need to sign up with them (for free), and the support team are all very good if you have any questions. Not sure on parking but the stadium is a little out of the city near a big park so you could be OK. I'd email the club and/or the...
Yep, thanks @ozzygull, great idea, although I'm not sure the people sat behind me enjoyed it so much when I've tornadoed my scarf round my head for both goals
Same. After the AEK game there was no way I was trying for the trains/buses again. Thought even if it was raining then I'd be getting as wet cycling as I would queuing. I know not everyone can cycle home but if you live in town then it's surely the best way to get to/from the game if you are able
I may have missed it on this thread but what's the plan for at the ground? Holding them up to GOSBTS, twirling round out heads for the Europa anthem, something else?
