[Misc] Is having kids more hassle than it's worth?

It's both incredibly hard, and incredibly joyful. It has it's challenges. Every aspect of your life will change. You will have a lot less money, a lot less time and a lot more worry. Your house will never be tidy, you will have to make huge sacrifices and give up things you enjoy.. I've...

[Albion] Have you ENJOYED this season?

Palace did the double over us, we got humiliated 7-0, and despite putting ourselves in a great position, we've all but blown our chance of Europa League. It's not over til it's over, and historically it's still a good season - it just doesn't feel like it to me. Weird.

[Politics] A day that will live in infamy

I did not know any of those things, appreciate you letting me know. I think my general gripe is that our armed forces haven't been given the funding they so richly deserve for decades now. I hope we can get to that fabled 3% asap.

[Politics] A day that will live in infamy

I hope so. Certainly our submarines seem rather impressive, and this DragonFire stuff is interesting. Our military deserves far more. I worry about our capability to actually respond effectively to anything without NATO support.

[Politics] A day that will live in infamy

If you think we were poorly prepared then, you should see us now. 1982. - 50 ships (inc aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates and submarines etc) - 160,000 soldiers - 60,000 RAF 2025 - 30 ships (way fewer destroyers and frigates, and fewer aircraft carriers) - 80,000 soldiers - 30,000 RAF...

    [Brighton] Was it a penalty?

Never a penalty. Not remotely. Ref had a shocker all game I thought. Whoever dived in front of Webster just before should have been booked for simulation.

    [Football] Football podcasts - recommendations

Love him. He taught me to drive don't ya know. My favourite is hearing him getting progressively more pissed as the show goes on. Wonderful stuff. Also enjoy Seagulls Social and Talk Seagulls etc, we've got some great podcasts.

    [Football] Football podcasts - recommendations

Agree with this. Brighton Rock is great, especially the match day specials. And I enjoy TogetherBHA as well, as they don't take things too seriously. Both highly recommended.

A ship could also refer to a spaceship. Never heard of a spaceboat. #thoughtfortheday

[Football] Players available this summer - would we?

Pretty sure we were in for Boscagli in the summer - I think we offered £8 million which was rejected? If he's now available on a free, I could see us snapping him up.
