Cue three months of hacks inventing fables about every top six side eyeing up Hinch, a nameless Saudi team paying £900m for Hinch, Hinch being swapped for De Bruyne, Hinch lined up for Strictly, Hinch being the new Mrs Hinch…ad nauseum…
Clearly any pundits who are proclaiming Spurs are all of a sudden the new Real Madrid because they are 1-0 up against Albion, didn’t watch the first half. Bevendean Barcelona would be 1-0 up against Albion with that performance. WAKE UP!!!
I was only being flippant. Didn’t see him in first few minutes but actually reckon he has bags of potential and hope we give him at least another season to settle into PL football.
Easy to sugar coat it, but that was another Wieffer sloppy error that led to a really dangerous situation in our box. Christ, I so want him to be good but so many basic errors. Frustrating…
Apparently Potter hasn’t been involved in a team that has won from behind since playing for Solihull Saints under-9s when they won the West Midlands Junior Challenge Cup in 1983. Trailed 1-0 at break and ran out 3-2 winners.
Ironically this game, in reverse, reminds of all the games we suffered under Potter - when we dominated with 98.7% possession and had 12 shots on target v one against. Then lost 1-0. To some utter dogshit troupe of lumps that hadn’t scored a goal eight months….
