    [Football] Champions League Final 2025

His interview about his daughter from a few years ago is both inspirational and heartbreaking. Seems like a great man as well as coach and whatever my misgivings about their ownership I’m delighted for him. And what a team he’s built

    [Albion] Diego Coppola (Italian CB)

That’s what I would do, although I think we really need another LB too (unless we see Ferdi as that).

[Albion] On this day - Millennium Stadium

I went with my partner at the time and her brother’s best mate was a Bristol fan and so we met some of them the night before (stayed in Cardiff for the weekend to make a weekend of it). They were SO confident beforehand. It was delicious to beat them.

[Albion] On this day - Millennium Stadium

I still have my Brighton St George Flag with “Prescott, give us a ground” and my drawing of him. The fact I drew him minus a few lbs I still believe may have swung it for us

[Albion] Home fans only 1901 Pub

Maybe to pay for the coat rail?

[Albion] So it wouldn't have made any difference if...

This is true, and I had us down to finish around 12th pre season. A new inexperienced manager and a lot of new players to bed in. So I think all in all it’s a pretty good season.

[Albion] Joao Pedro Suspension - 13 points from 15

I agree with you about the #9 thing. Looks best in the left side attacker role to me. So ironically would stand to benefit if Mitoma leaves

[Albion] Joao Pedro Suspension - 13 points from 15

Bart well on track to post similar numbers at the other end

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

I can cope with Pedro being sold for a big fee. I cannot cope with Mitoma being sold. My favourite ever player I think.

[Albion] Mercurial, majestic, magnificent Mitoma [20/10/23: New deal signed]

I have a friend who works for a National newspaper who’s usually pretty reliable and has told me this is probably happening 😢

    [Albion] Olivier Boscagli

I think the issue with Pervis is that the role he’s asked to do requires a lot of lung busting runs to get back into position. Until recently, I think his fitness has not been back at the level where he can do that. And nothing winds up a home crowd more than seeing a player look like he isn’t...

    Agree with all of that

    [Albion] Did we really...

When did the whole guard of honour thing become a thing? I’m sure it didn’t happen when I was growing up. Stiff handshake and get on with it.

    [Albion] Cuiabano?

We seem to be obsessed with signing FBs who are actually wingers (Barco, Ferdi, now this guy, and Pervis seems to have forgotten how to defend). I feel like we need a couple of FBs who are actually FBs.

    [Albion] Amex goodbyes tonight...

I’m mostly worried about this one. It feels like a “he wants to play in CL, can’t stand in his way” situation, a bit like Dan Burn. Really hope I’m wrong

[Albion] Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

What is the opposite of “bogey” team? I guess bunnies but that’s nicked from cricket really

[Albion] 4pts won’t be enough will it ?

I’m worried that City are so in and out this season. On form, Palace should probably be much shorter. I’ve resigned myself to them winning the damn thing.

    [Albion] Solly March

On the plus side, having had an arthroscopy to clean out scar tissue (which I assume is what is meant by a “clean out”) it’s a pretty minor operation and is likely to give him much more freedom and less pain. Presumably timed so he can have a full pre season and we have little to play for now...

[Albion] Reasons To Be Cheerful - Sort Of!

I’m not at all disagreeing with your main point. But I’d argue this season is the most unprecedented for injuries…since last season

    [Albion] The oldies transfer targets.

I follow the Alternative MUFC account on Twitter who does good match reviews and in the Bilbao game it said “the ref evened up the numbers, leaving it 10 v 10 (+ Lindelof) for the rest of the match”. I don’t think he’s a fan
