you could also make the case that a number of the bournemouth squad were from when they were promoted from league 1 as they didn't make many signings in either year they were in the championship so needed quite a few

Not a lot of competition. I doubt the other strikers felt him competition. Skalak would do a better job than Akpom even in a less favoured position

4 goals in 16 games in PL is not too bad a return, thats 8 goals for the season. Defoe was about 1 goal in 3 games at spurs :)

Akpom was the 4th striker.....i'm not sure missing him is a weakness.....
