im back on this wagon now if anyone else is still . got down to 82kg my lowest ever weight at 54 and 6 ft 2 . I do lots weight training so full 6 pack prob about 13% body fat at a guess. xmas and a holiday happened and im now 89 kg !!! Doing a 6 week mini cut hoping to get to 84 something .

Just to add Ive just started reading a book . The author is very successful, has a job he loves and is very well paid for . He has a nice house in a nice area . He is happily married with 2 kids he loves . Sounds great ? No . He says he's been miserable most of his life .

Put on 6kg since I finished my diet 8/12🤣. Thats xmas and a 2 week holiday for you. 5 week diet starts in couple weeks . Trying to lose 4kg in that time. Then be a bit more disciplined to get to 81 or 80 kg for a holiday in august
Excellent point which i was going to make . I'm currently sat here on a 6 hour drive from the Bay of islands to Tauranga (finally convinced the wife to take over) . Sat in the back is my 77 year old mum who flew over from Sussex to spend xmas with us . She can drive me mad sometimes with her...

Was actually 83.3kg yesterday but excessive amounts of cheese and crisps with the neighbours caused a spike . Still hoping for 82's by last day which is this time next week as the water weight...

i was actually 83.5kg on sat but had my first cheat evening sat night so hoping for low 83 or even into the 82,s by Monday as the water weight comes off from the beers and bbq.... and crisps ... and...
replying to myself here but after dropping my food intake ive dropped 0.9kg in 2 days !! that is 2.8 kg in 16 days . Way too quick and risking muscle loss. it looks like i jumped the gun on dropping food and will put it back up on monday . Having a cheat sat as out for beers and alcohol so...
In terms of water weight ......... the scales were the same for me most of last week . last 2 days dropped almost 0.9kg . this happens all the time your body fights the weight loss by storing water . stick with it and it will come off
My update . 2 weeks down as of today on a planned 5 week cut I was doing anyway

week 1 85.4 kg down 1 kg
week 2 84.7 kg down .7kg. actually lost .4kg overnight so makes it a little better.
Goal was 82kg but I don't think im going to make that. Haven't cheated in the week...

That rapid weight loss at the beginning of a diet is mainly water weight. Weight loss will slow after that so don't get downhearted . 1000 calories deficit per day below your maintenance, which is huge roughly loses you 2 lb per week . 1 lb per week is great .
Depends a lot on how overweight...
