    [Humour] Weird shit you remember

I left the old bill in 1995, I still remember the full names and dates of birth of some people that I nicked (regulars). Is my brain in breach of GDPR?

    [TV] Maxine

A week of so after the horrific events in Soham all matches held a minutes silence for the little girls.. We were away at MK, bollocks to giving them any money so a few of us went to Kingstonian to offer support to AFC Wimbledon instead. Be for the match we were in The Falcon just down the road...

    [Help] Coming off Anti Depressants

Citopram Kid here. Have been on them for many years, and expect I will be for the rest of my life tbh. I was told by a Doctor that the first time that you take ADs you should take them until you get better + 6 months. If you need them again then you should take them until you better + 1 year...

Brilliant speech about gay marriage in the NZ parliament

You're not serious right? Using your own figures you think it's right that less than 1% of the UK population should be listened to as opposed to the millions who support it?I can't find a poll carried out in the UK this century that isn't heavily in favour of allowing gay marriage. Personally I...

    Where were you on 9/11?

I was working for BAA security in the South Terminal at Gatwick. It was my day off and I was kicking myself that I'd agreed to do a shift swap and work that day, not realising that it was the Southampton game. I walked in to the staff crew room about 20 mins before my shift started, about 30...

    PPI Claim - Halifax

It would seem that by current definitions I was mis-sold. Like a lot of people in financial difficulties at the time I got the unwritten inference from bank staff was "You'll have a much better chance of being accepted if you take out the insurance".

    PPI Claim - Halifax

Just a quick tale that could get some fellow fans a couple of quid. Having seen all the PPI reclaim Ads stating "If you've had a loan/credit card etc in the last 6 years", I'd written off any hope of ever seeing any money back on the PPI I'd paid on old loans. In fact I wasn't even going to...

Donny fans memories of the last Goldstone game

I think we used to stand just behind you. Always loved it when you got this going. My brother taught his little girls the song, always brings a tear to my eye when they sing it!

AFC Wimbledon - It's a funny old game.

Article on AFC in today's Observer. Including the amazing fact that their first ever goal was scored by none other than Glenn Mulcaire! The private investigator employed by the News of the World at the heart of the hacking scandal. His nickname at the time was Trigger and his goal prompted this...

    One for this afternoon

Not me, and I posted it! Amazing weight carrying performance from Hoof It, clearly a class or two above. However, I did lump on his brother (@5/2) and got back everything I lost with my other bets today.

    One for this afternoon

Yeah, like I said "Big if!" Get on at Hamilton.

    One for this afternoon

If (big if!) Hoof it can carry his lumps of weight to win then the double must be on with his half brother in the 6.40 at Hamilton BOP IT.

    One for this afternoon

I did Colonel Mak antepost but I fear the drying ground is doing him no favours. I've been following Victoire De Lyphar so I might have a little interest there too. Can't ignore Nicholls in these big field sprints, it's just finding the right one of his.

    Support Acts At Concerts

The Proclaimers supporting The Housemartins (thanks Norm), Top Rank about 1986. Had never heard of them, remember laughing with my mates at the look of the brothers Reid when they came on. About 2 songs in we were blown away, been a fan ever since.
