Whenever the pre match description says something like "Team X travel to the Amex hoping to end their run of y games without a win/point/goal" I know we're in trouble.
Am I paranoid or is Brighton (A) the fixture with which clubs are most are likely to change their poor fortune?
A shame after that wonderful result and performance, but I'll have to wait until Sunday to watch the team again. Not so much a boycott, but it feels so sordid to see our majestical stripes have to sully themselves by occupying the same field as that abominable outfit.
Anyone else feel the same?
The recent debate, as well as Jonathan Wilson's article yesterday, got me thinking about the best Albion pitch invasions I have participated in.
In no particular order, the following come to mind:
Shrewsbury Town 2001. Lost 3-0 but got promoted for the first time in ages. Great atmosphere on...
Hi all,
with Christmas coming up I thought I would put a couple more Albion designs up on the Spreadshirt website for your perusal.
These are all available on t-shirts, bags, mugs, etc online at https://www.spreadshirt.co.uk/shop/user/deepford/?topic=201488, along with some other...
This actually makes me feel much better. Surely over the course of a season the discrepancy between xPTS and points reduces.
https://understat.com/league/EPL
With the previous Albion app you used to be able to stream commentary through that on your phone and use your phone for something else at the same time (or turn the screen off all together) without interrupting the stream.
With My Albion TV, it appears you need to be on the actual website the...
Apologies for the shameless plug, but I gone and made a football t-shirt.

Playing the cherries on Saturday made me think of the extent to which teams' nicknames strike fear into the hearts of their opponents, with cherries being the least intimidating (though I suppose they do have a pit inside them you could choke on). Here is my list of Premier League teams'...
I had no idea about this.

Steve Foster sounds like a legend. Chris Cattlin, not so much.
I love Wrighty. One of football's class acts in my opinion. I'd have loved to see him in the stripes, and it sounds like it came very close. What could have been...
Not according to BBC world service who used this fixture as an example of the type of fixture that does NOT draw international audiences.
I think I would have gone with Swansea v Watford.
Desperate to get tickets to the Chelsea game, I turned to Twitter. I have successfully acquired cheap football tickets from Twitter users in the past and sure enough there are plenty of accounts purporting to sell tickets for the boxing day game at face value. I didn't mind being in the home...
Not a song I would have gone for but it worked brilliantly and produced a rare tear in mine eye. Great choice and well done whoever was responsible.

There's a distinct possibility that we go up 'at' this game. Which will be shit. Leicester winning the title without playing was bizarre, suddenly the good folk of Leicester getting our of bed at 10pm and making their way to a dormant football stadium in the dark to celebrate. I will really be...
