The same road where Ronaldo crashed some time ago. 85mph in a 50mph zone is mad - also there’s been roadworks there for ages.
Just watching Huddersfield vs Dirty Leeds - The latter are playing in a pink strip - I remember the abuse our keeper got for wearing a bright pink shirt at Elland Rd in the 2000s
I know this will be difficult but let’s have some obscure positives
we managed to win with a clean sheet
liked the “who put the ball in the Sheffield net” song
i had. Very pleasant drive back over the Pennines
In a break with tradition the BBC are actually nominating sports stars with personalities this year IncludingStuart Broad, Frankie Detorri and Mary Earps.
I like the idea of Detorri or Broad winning it for ll they have done over the years

Does anyone know why ex Leeds, ex City and ex Liverpool player James Milner got auch a bad reception from the Manchester United fans yesterday? Pity he didn’t score!
On reflection of yesterday’s events, whilst it was hilarious to see Chelsea lose, I have reflected and feel we may have taken too much delight in Caicedo’s failings. he was a fantastic player for us, but he is young. I do’t want to see his confidence take such a blow that it puts his career off...
I went to my first match
An interesting experience - I remember he incongruity of seeing a South Downs bus in Nottinghamshire. Apparently my Dad got a tad concerned when we booed Mansfield as they came out ( we were in seating surrounded by home supporters)! The match ended up with us losing...
If you’re driving to the match, you may want to consider driving to Altrincham - there’s a car park by the station and getting the tram there. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Old Trafford - you’d spend a lot longer on the A56 going through Altrincham, Sale and Stratford to get there.

I'm arriving in Hanoi tomorrow a couple of hours before the big kick off
Anyone know of any bars to watch the game?
Any other Hanoi recommendations- it's 20 years since I went here last and imagine it has changed dramatically since then
I know most of the supporters living in the Manchester area will be at the game, but for those of us not - does anyone know of a good place to watch the game in central Manchester?
We are holding an event for our charity, Children of Africa, at the Uluru Bar in Altrincham on Saturday 24th November at 8pm.
Joe Hart - Manchester City's an England U21's goalkeeper is sponsoring the event.
As Joe is coming along - the football prizes for auction are Manchester City- related...
Assuming there isn't another freak snowstorm like last week, we are planning to meet up in the Lass O'Gowrie from about 6pm before going on to the youth team cup match.
I hope everyone in the Manchester area (and anyone else travelling) can still joining us.
As you have heard, there is to be a great welcome from our friends in Bury. It looks like Padders and I will be a little busy. So any other fans in the North West - come and join us.
PM me so we can co-ordinate it.
Padders can you get in touch as well please.
