Of course it is.
This season we have only dropped unexpected points against Ipswich, Wolves and Forest. With Wolves the game was won but for the debacle at the end, and it turns out Forest aren't actually a lower league team.
I genuinely expect a 2-1 home defeat.
A shame because if Southampton could oblige with one of their famous 9-0 Premier League defeats, we'd probably STAY second at the end of the weekend (assuming no other thrashings and City don't win at Anfield)
Every time I see the Nigels mentioned, my mind goes back to the BBC Premier League preview article that went out just before the season started.
One of the thousands of comments said "Palace will finish above Brighton. Trust me".
A shrewd observation. The Palace European charge is just around...
It is absolutely MENTAL that we really do have an active interest in this game.
I think I actually want a City win. I don't think we can finish above them realistically, but if they are relegated or have a massive points deduction, we could feasibly be in touch with the league leaders by the...
£50-100? I paid £37 for a ticket tonight, and I'm not a STH. I'd say that stacks up favourably compared to a west end show for example and is about the £5-10 more than entry to horse racing or a professional rugby match.
You can buy tickets for the west end fairly cheaply too, but most seats...
Exactly this. The unwritten rule up and down the country is that away fans in the more docile of home ends are tolerated if they behave respectfully. That goes for most clubs and I suspect there are no more than 3 or 4 clubs where that isn't the case these days. Personally I've been in the home...
So Saints manager Russell Martin is a Brightonian as I'm sure most people know. However I'm sure I read on here that he doesn't (or didn't at some point in the past) have a good relationship with the Albion.
Can anyone shed any light on this or is it just bollocks?
I don't really have an issue with it all the while the club also offers mascot duties as a random thing to junior seagulls, which of course they do and always have done.
It's not what it was anyway. Back in the day, one of two mascots per side. Nowadays it's one per player.
I'd also add that...
I remember in 1982, a struggling Albion side turned up at second place Southampton expecting to get smashed. We won 2-0. Especially pleasing as my brother was (and still is) a Saints fan and back then he was an annoying twat.
Anyway, I fear the symmetry of this. We will batter them and lose 1-2.
I always think I do until I go to a good one. Wicked is good, as 3 or 4 of us on here who have actually seen it will attest. Chicago west end production, the Book of Mormon and one or two others are also musicals worth seeing.
