[Albion] GOSBTS - No words onscreen today

In all seriousness, I'd love to know if there are simple ways to retain a lyric. I was actually a singer in a band that never left a rehearsal room in the Royal Albion for 3m and the lyrics never left my side. Fortunately the drummer and bass player both left the country in a hurry due to...

[Albion] GOSBTS - No words onscreen today

Happy to accept the whoosh. I'm sure you know I started a different thread that got merged with another and retitled under my name. Don't blame you for putting it on ignore.

[Albion] GOSBTS - No words onscreen today

Actually I'm not really that interested in politics. But sadly tarred with that brush it seems.

[Albion] GOSBTS - No words onscreen today

Interesting how despite all your conditions and issues, you have no sympathy with mine. Or did you once say lack of empathy was one of yours?

[Albion] GOSBTS - No words onscreen today

Congratulations to the campaigners who got rid of the words onscreen. Left me unable to join in until the chorus as I can't remember the words. Since nobody on here seems to be crowing about this little victory, I presume the 'makes us look tinpot' whingers didn't even notice. But there was...

[Music] London Stadium Gigs - Any tips?

Check the Travelodge. 20m walk from the stadium.

[Albion] Trains to Brighton…….straight down the middle…..

I enjoy it and clearly so do others, judging by the smiles near her today. The trains are no fun going home and it lightens the mood. Too much intolerance and too many killjoys around these days. Leave the girl alone. She's a character having a bit of fun and did so throughout last season. This...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

You do take yourself incredibly seriously. It was a jokey comment. You have even replied directly under the comment where I said I posted with a smile, not malice. Having a laugh. A bit of fun.

Hope he doesn't overreact. I posted with a smile, not malice.

    [Politics] The Labour Government

Bloody hell Zeberdi. Is posting enormous replies on NSC your day job or do you just not have anything to do since deposing Liz Truss and Labour are now in power?

    [Misc] Tony Soper RIP

Another one from my childhood TV. Presenter and broadcaster I knew first from Animal Magic in the early 60's with Johnny Morris. Part of the cohort of presenters who helped trigger my lifelong interest in wildlife, alongside Morris, Durrell, Scott etc. RIP.

[Albion] Drinks bottles at the Amex

Fun fact: A fizzy drink stays fizzy longer in the bottle with the cap off than if you pour it in to a glass. Top tip: If you have a fizzy drink in a restaurant, cafe, bar or wherever and the server brings a glass and a topless bottle, pour the drink as required and leave the rest in the bottle...

[Albion] Hürzeler or Huerzeler or both?

Interesting example. I have never noticed umlauts in Zurich or spotted Zurich spelt Zuerich. At least, I don't think I have. And I did a school project on Switzerland and a German O'Level. Maybe a rabbit hole for later. Especially for our boss, these thing matter.

[Music] What's the best song you have heard today? Share it here.

Going early today because it's yesterday's choice and I forgot to post. Hope I don't hear anything great today. NB. I o4iginally posted the Beat Club version which I prefer, but it came up 'video unavailable'.

    [Politics] The Labour Government

And there we have it. Doubling down on being wrong. No apology. And I wasn't even replying to you. Do you always persist in your 'beliefs' and 'opinions' when you have been told categorically by the originator that you are wrong? I'll leave you to have the last word because you can't stop...

    [Politics] The Labour Government

I think you may be being a little oversensitive to my comment back at HT. He was being an arse doubling down on his entirely false opinion about my motives for posting the thread, despite my assertions to the contrary. The comment was entirely aimed at him. I didn't reference you and I know you...

[Albion] Baleba - Bissouma - Caicedo... Out of the three, who do you think will prove to be the greatest player over time?

Biss was the first of the three with us and set the standard. Caicedo was superb for us, but less so now Chelsea have worked their magic on him. Baleba looks so strong, has pace and vision and unlike the other two has now shown he can keep a shot down and on target. I have no doubt he will leave...
