Well, it might work in our favour. Given that Leeds are the eternal Champions of Europe, if they finish in sixth then that creates and extra Europa League place as they will go into the Champions League as the perpetual winner.
I will mention it. Although I'm not tired during the day, except when I'm staring at a screen for hours on end. I've never woken up gasping for breath.
These are a good point.
If some of the teams below us get their act together next season we may find ourselves in the wilderness West Ham have been this year. If one of the promoted teams backs their manager...
We, and indeed others, are not as safe as folk think in this league.
Leicester...
I only sleep for two hours a go at night. So wake up four or five times. I don't know what causes it. But am going to mention it to the doctor. I haven't slept through a night since I can remember. I don't know what that feels like.
The problem with some teams (see Spurs and United in the league) is that they have given up on the season. Especially as there is no jeopardy this year with such poor bottom three sides.
Albion haven't given up, they've just been a bit rubbish recently.
'this has been going on for a bit now as he left out poisonous plants to hope Terry would chew on them'
That is a criminal offence.
I suspect a visit from plod would see the neighbour deny such actions. But a visit from plod would normally be enough.
So much simpler. Nice to know we can finish ninth, get relegated, and play Eymet in the Champions League (I played there once, artificial pitch and very hot). I'd quite like to play Sporting Alfas in Benidorm. Perhaps Sussex would let me do the scoring. Free wine, and my card was only out by one.
Interesting seeing a match without VAR. Two of the goals look like they may have been chalked off for marginal offside. Certainly would have added a bit of time to the half.
Non-league football has been taking off in a big way since Covid. That's the way I read it anyway. This year's thread on here has had 112k views.
Covid was the unfortunate, but perfect storm for the lower league game. Folk have been going along and enjoying the experience. And keep going...
I've only just noticed that at the top of the forum. What a splendid read. Thanks to those who write there
I'll add to Hiney's programmes for essential Albion consumption.
