As @Commander said to me, £90m is an awful lot of money for a player who is unplayable 3 or 4 times a season but a standard good Premier League winger for the rest of the time.
So I'd rather he stayed but would understand if the club decided to cash in on that sort of offer.
Can't really choose between Wigan, Donny, Marseille and the rugby to be honest.
By the way, the Amex has only been around for 15 years or so and half of those events don't have any sort of equivalence at the shit-tip that is Selhurst, despite a 100-year head start. Says it all about the gulf...
Can Sporting score at home to Bologna? If they don't, Gykores and co are out and Dynamo Zagreb go through instead by beating Milan at home!
Edit: goal for Sporting
This format is really delivering, to be fair.
I don't care that Liverpool are resting players - they'd have done that in the old format if they were out of sight.
Something to play for in all but 3 or 4 games, A couple of big stories brewing, and a few good games. It's just a shame they've...
This idea that our fanbase is flakey is absurd.
We are a provincial club and you only have to look at gates since the Amex was built to see that it's nothing of the sort. Even this game, with its stupid kick off time, stadium-specific transport issues, and being shown live on TV, it will still...
Baleba - no argument there. He's world class.
But I wouldn't mind them taking Rutter for another £100m to be fair, as long we get to keep Georginio.
I think that possibly included his goals against Grimsby, to be fair.
And besides, he has done nothing since for 18 months, so it's quite subjective to consider whether or not he's proved himself. Certainly not as clear cut as the case of Aaron Connolly anyway.
