Why has NSC decided that he is completely shit?
Alright, Barnes and Murray were better for us last season, but I thought Wood chipped in from time to time and is nothing like as crap as loads of people on here are making out. In fact, I'd say he was one our most effective strikers of the past...
If we carry on playing the football we've seen in our first six games of the season, we'll be a Premier League team next season.
Note, I'm not saying we are going up. I am saying that the benchmark is set high - and if it is reached, promotion beckons.
Someone tell me
a) that isn't arrogant...
My brother and dad went to this one at the weekend. Apparently a very scrappy game which Southampton were slightly fortunate to win. Secondly, Millwall caused all sorts of trouble all afternoon.
How the HELL are the old bill going to deal with that lot at our place, with all the transport...
Donny:
Numbers 6/10 - might have expected a few more, despite the obvious teething problems
Noise 6.5/10 - got behind their team but no great shakes
Friendliness - 8/10 - no real problems that I could see. A couple of Albion twats in the train queue after the game were winding them up in a...
Celtic 0-0 FC Sion
Cracking result against the Swiss minnows.
NK Maribor 2-1 Rangers
Maribor are Slovenian, in case you've never heard of them. And lets not forget, this is Rangers' second bite at the cherry.
Hearts 0-5 Spurs
Still all to play for then.
Couldn't the Jock teams...

Naturally I am talking about Ken Bates:
BBC Sport - Leeds chairman Ken Bates hits out at 'moron' protestors
Anyone protesting about his ownership is apparently "a moron". I hope someone PUNCHES him soon.
Less than a month to go now. Who do you reckon will win it then? I suspect NZ will win it, personally.
Looking at England's group, we might struggle to get into the knockout stages, as we have both Scotland and Argentina in our group.
Official RWC 2011 Site - Fixtures
For me, fantastic.
Stadium - brilliant. Just brilliant. And even the transport hasn't proved the headache I thought it might be.
On line ticketing and eCard charging - impressive, but not quite perfect. However, I like the way
Problems - I've had a couple and they've been sorted out over...
The only downer on the whole Amex experience is the suck it and see approach to travel arrangements. I still don't know what my standard routine ought to be, and there must be a ton of people in this position.
So could we have a separate "Amex travel" forum? Strictly moderated, I'd suggest...
He's seen fit to spunk £20m on Stewart Downing.
What a frightfully crap player to bring in, for that sort of money. Oh sorry, he's English - that explains it.
I love this site, but the Albion page, which has recently been updated, is a complete SHAMBLES:
Football Ground Guide: American Express Community Stadium, Brighton And Hove Albion FC
FAIL
Haven't they heard of Drumstick gate? It's 22,480 now isn't it.
But this is the poorest bit:
Obviously...
In the good old days of having your photos developed, it would be fairly routine to stick your photos in an album just as soon as you found time after getting them back from the developers. Nowadays of course, the urgency is no longer there because you have the pics as soon as you click the...
Examples:
* In 2000, when Glamorgan limped along to 718/3 against Sussex in the County Championship.
* England in Sweden in 1992. Somehow worse than 1988.
* Watching Derek Pringle "bowl" against the West Indies batsmen throughout the 80s to absolute comedy effect.
* And of course, Magoo's...
Has men's tennis ever been as exciting as this? We are witnessing one man who is touted as the greatest tennis player who ever lived, another who is apparently the greatest tennis player of the day, and incredibly neither player can be sure of winning it, thanks to the presence of the brilliant...
Anyone following this? 100,000 watched the first two matches apparently (71,000 for the Germany game).
I assume this is going to be a bit like rugby world cups where the group stages are basically a formality in all but one or two games, and the real competition starts in the knockouts?
