Oh yeah, on the point of the thread, I'd always consider private education in this country if the local state offering was a load of wank.
That's the issue in Britain isn't it? You can be in an area where the state schools are fantastic, but unfortunately you can also be in an area where they...
I really hate when someone you always used to like for professional reasons turns out to be an utter f##king bellend.
Put him in the bin marked "John Cleese", although obviously not before Lawrence Fox has been scrunched up and thrown in that direction.
What a coincidence, my niece is a CHINK* who goes to Roedean and she is lovely, down to earth, normal and polite too.
*Half chink actually, as @Stumpy Tim is as Caucasian as I am.
@Guinness Boy or uber twuntstable, @hans kraay fan club? NSC needs to know.
Perhaps I could be even more of a twat for you? Then you could put me on ignore instead. (y)
A bit odd that they couldn't find a rabbi instead of a rabbit at short notice, especially as the rabbit was clearly a person dressed as a rabbit, given that he spoke English.
I wonder what the rabbi would have ordered? I'm guessing a nice pint of stout.
To be fair, the argument for and against equal pay is not the same as the argument for and against the gender pay gap.
Equal pay is a non-starter all the while there aren't enough people (especially women) prepared to pay to watch women play sport. On the other hand, narrowing the gender pay...
Horses for courses init. We use both where I work.
Macs look slick and the software runs very well. On the flip side, Mac Books are absurdly heavy to carry around compared to their PC counterparts, the technology is always a bit dated and they tend to be expensive for what they are.
I wonder whether Minteh might get a pass though, as he clearly had something to prove at Newcastle. That was clearly on his mind after an eventful game where he went from distraught villain to hero. As long as he doesn't do that against anyone else...
The problem, as always, is that giving an impression that you are preventing your best players from playing at the highest possible level by holding them to their contract will mean they become demotivated and their performance levels drop off.
With hindsight, we should have let Trossard go...
Not so sure it's "highly" unlikely anymore. The markets have us around 3.2 (between 2/1 and 9/4) to finish in the top 6. If we can finally beat Fulham after 8 years of trying, and then get something at City, those will be the odds for a top 5 place.
Great thread but I'm edging towards the opposite. I'd hate to lose JP and KM but that is the model we've followed for 8 years - we make a fortune in selling our best players (some of whom are world class), re-invest the money in good players (some of whom turn out to be just as good), but...
Norwich, as befits the most normal and bang average town in the country, will be bringing cheese sandwiches (but with slightly upmarket cheddar and on granary bread), a tube of unusually flavoured Pringles, some plums (ready to eat, none of that radiated shite) and a selection of slightly...
Both duly noted and amended in my original HILARIOUS post.
If Exeter or Cambridge rock up with beige sausage rolls and sub standard Asda own-brand crisps, you two will have a lot to answer for.
