We’re not silent. Some of us can only go to home games and don’t like to comment on the tactics at games we’ve not seen properly. Personally, I’ve only seen us win twice live this season (missed Spurs).
I’m genuinely really happy that we’re turning results around, but I’d like to see some of...
I’ve got to say, I’ve been taking the train from HH this season for the first time and I’ve found it to be an unenjoyable experience, so looking for other solutions. The Palace game, in particular, had me on edge the whole journey and isn’t something I’ve any interest in repeating.
The...
They’re not trying to fix the issue. They’re hiding behind the guise of trying to fix the issue whilst going after people that have paid money for their product, without actually improving the system that would allow people to pass on tickets fairly and effectively to fill the stadium. It’s all...
A 7, which is a massive improvement on where I was pre-Christmas. At this stage, I just want to watch us win a game at the AMEX. It could easily be an 8 or 9 next weekend.
Saying that, I try to keep my mojo much more level, rather than the constant highs and lows that used to come.
But they’ll never learn doing it that way. You only learn from mistakes in real game scenarios. The key though, as stated before, is scanning properly - Ayari didn’t do it in that instance and got caught on his toes. It happens 🤷♂️
And yeh, twice. Today, and I’m sure there was a game earlier...
Isn’t it working? It’s gone wrong twice (I think) this season when we’ve got a 21 year old gk and literal kids playing in midfield. Mistakes will happen.
Ultimately, if you play the ball into other areas consistently, teams will press in those areas instead and you’re faced with the same issue...
Totally agree. What I would add is that having a threat from the right hand side makes such a difference to him. He’s spent most of this season being marked by 2-3 players as we’ve had no threat from the right, and that’s difficult for any player, no matter the level.
Hopefully, with Gruda and...
He should play to him there. Ayari is caught on his toes, that’s all. You’re talking milliseconds in the Premier League. And a good press will sometimes catch you out in those milliseconds.
What is worrying is that he doesn’t seem to have scanned the area around him before asking for the ball...
I know this is going to sound selfish, but as someone who only really attends home games and hasn’t seen the last two away wins (no TnT), I’m going to reserve judgement until I see the improvement with my own eyes.
Fingers are so well and truly crossed though 🤞
The one thing I’ve never questioned about him is his work rate. Every time I’ve seen him he’s worked really hard. Not always effectively as he’s been so raw, but he’s worked hard.
I’m really happy to see it’s leading to better output now as there’s a really talented player in there.
