Extended period for prohibition of waiting and driving around Falmer

Just noticed in the Argus a Public Notice extending the period for no parking and no driving around Falmer Village from 3 hours before the match to 4 hours. Comes into force from November 4. Remains 30 minutes after the match. Don't know if that is going to help alleviate the crawl up the slip road

    Awful day on our roads

First a serious accident blocking Southbound M23 Then a fuel spillage at Pycombe northbound now they have just cleared eastbound A27 at Falmer following a 5 vehicle crash at 4.0pm. You poor souls who have to use these roads every day. Hope your evening turns out OK.

Amex transport is a problem the owners need to sort out 6:00pm Thursday 8th September 2011 I READ with interest Phil Young’s letter regarding crowd transport problems at the American Express Community Stadium (The Argus, August 30). The inference of the letter was that somehow the rail...

Bus & Coach park better organised tonight?

Well I thought so. Mill Road q still seemed longest. Mithras House and Racecourse about a 20 minute wait unless you left before the whistle or could get out quickly from the East Stand when I imagine you would be away within 5 minutes.

So now Travel Vouchers not required for Spurs game

It all gets so confusing. It's as if they are making it up as they go. It's ok for us who have NSC we can see the hourly (well almost) changes to the travel plans but what if you don't read this site? As much as I love and support the Albion and are so excited about the Amex the way the club...

Falmer Failures according to the Argus' readers

Falmer failures 5:31pm Friday 20th May 2011 LOOKING at Brighton and Hove Albion’s new stadium at Falmer from Ditchling Beacon, it is transparently obvious that it is incongruous with the downland landscape that is so close to the heart of many people. The problem is not on the same scale of...

There are some idiots who support the mighty Seagulls

Yes you. Blokes in their 40's and 50's who in the east of the south stand today think it's great to rush down to the front of the stand where there are toddlers and knock them over. One poor kid was absolutely terrified. Luckily he and 2 others were not hurt but oh my, what idiots you looked.
