1. Slade is a great talker and says all of the right things when questioned. I can well see how he would have talked himself into a job when interviewed by Bloom. Unfortunately the ‘walk’ didn’t match the talk and I get the impression that Bloom doesn’t suffer fools or impostors.
2. It was...
Is significant in that, even at this time last year, there was a big majority in favour of Adams (54% in (68 votes), 29% out (36 votes) in a poll after the Hereford draw). In fact, todays figure for Slade (27% in (62) and 73% out (165)) were not matched by Adams until late December.
If Slade...
is us to beat Bris R. What's more we may get a juicy 3-1 or even 7-2. We've got a very good record there and the team will be well up for it (many of them with Slade's bootprint still visible on their backsides). Hudds apart, we're playing much better away at the moment too.
I really think this...
Leeds 1, Norwich 2, MK 3, Hudds 4, Brentford 5, Charlton 6........Brighton 22!!!
'few on the South Coast are expecting an improvement' Where did that come from?
Andy Booth has announced he's retiring as of the end of the season. Saturday will be his last home appearance - expect them to go all out to get him a win (and a goal or two). They cannot make the playoffs (Tranmere v Scunthorpe is last match and one of them will have more than 72 pts) but I...

I notice this youngster from Worthing is on trial at Leicester. Was he ever watched by our scouts? If so, do I assume that he wasn't considered good enough?
Does anyone know if we have even taken a look at this guy who's been right on our doorstep all season......
Worthing forward Mickey Demetriou has spent the week on trial with Leicester City.
The League One leaders have been impressed by Demetriou’s progress with the Rebels and also with the...
My son-in-law is thinking of applying for a job with this organisation. Does anybody either work there or know someonw who does - or have dealings with them? If so, are they a good company to work for? He currently works in Brighton and it would save him the time and costs of commuting.
Because clubs may not be able to get their prospective signings to medicals, etc.?
For instance, I wonder if Craig Davies was planning to come down this morning to have his medical and then sign? Might be OK if he's staying in Brighton.

On the 'Dean Cox Dropped' thread several people said that he was often seen out in HH on the night before a game. It was also mentioned that this couldn't be an away game as we are usually in a hotel at the time.
Could the real reason why our home form is so disappointing be that our players...
Defending against these two must be the easiest job in football. Neither of them have any sort of left foot and the opposition now knows it. With Cox they offer him the outside every time, knowing he’ll never take it and, if he does, he won’t deliver. With Robinson they close the outside and...
