I mean, if you will choose to live on a giant volcanic rock...
(visited Iceland and it is brilliant and I recommend it to anyone, especially in winter time).
Anyone else STILL hypothetically add on the extra 4 points dropped from the Leicester and Wolves home games when they look at the table?
In both games we were 2-0 up - at HOME - with 5 (FIVE) minutes of normal time to go. So painful.
Very talented manager but way too stubborn and principled, and throws his weight around/speaks like he's already achieved a lot more than he has. There's clearly a reason he never lasts at a club more than about 18 months usually.
Sounds like a certain Uruguayan we might remember as well...
Absolutely - to get a psychological advantage as much as anything.
If I'm absolutely knackered and know that I'm likely to be taking a penalty in a few moments, and saw the other team bringing on a "penalty specialist" keeper, that would 100% get in my head.
No confidence at all, due to Bart’s Shilton-esq penalty record. Saved 1 in 27 I believe it is now.
Still annoyed we didn’t bring Steele on for pens against Man Utd in the 2023 semi.
I know it's a broken record one but MAD that the vast majority of these games can't be watched on telly within the UK. It's not even a 3pm blackout issue, they just aren't being shown.
This is exactly why intent IS key IMO. Players fall over all the time, things happen, particularly in the box with loads of bodies and limbs around.
The vast majority of the time, it isn't a foul.
Mitoma is just trying to stop the ball coming across, he isn't attempting to stop the player...
As others have said, it should've been moot as there was one of the clearest dives I have ever seen about 5 seconds prior.
But no, Mitoma's wasn't even close to a pen - no negative intent from Mitoma whatsoever, was clearly sliding to block the ball and the player managed to get himself tangled...
Couldn’t agree more.
Drama and high stakes is what we want from football.
Doesn’t get much bigger than Brighton Palace at Wembley for both sets of fans.
