Incredible to think that most of the Welsh team are Div 2 level.

This match is nuts. 4-3. You know who.

I think my cat was on the wall at the time of the conversation. Or so it told me.

[Football] If Palace can't play in the Europa League

Utterly classless, but what you might expect from the Forest owner. You can bet your house that Albion will do no such thing. As much as they may have enjoyed the last season, I can't help thinking that many Forest fans must cringe at their owner.

County Championship in the summer ? My word. They'll be meaningful matches in August next* *EDIT No there won't

I remember the old Sunday league. Crowds were always pretty good too. I used to love the Horsham match, complete with customary streaker.

AI lies a lot. I have found it out on a number of occasions. Including when I asked a question, called it out (as much as you can do that for a machine) and it then corrected its answer based on the information I had provided it with and no other source. See its desperate attempts in my Post 34

I have acute fuddy duddiness too. Although I accept T20 as a necessary cash cow for the game now. But only at county level. I couldn't tell you anything about the IPL for example. I've never sat and watched a whole game there. As for The Hundred. I have seen even less of that and you will see...

No wonder they screwed it up. Looks like they were using the same player in every position.

[Football] If Palace can't play in the Europa League

It wasn't the fault of the referee, or indeed the linesman. He was well in front of what was happening so wouldn't have been able to determine if the ball was handled outside the box. It was a VAR issue.

    [News] Nigel Farage and Reform

Yeah, the % polled is normally an outlier unless you have the situation we have at present. In 1987 the SDP Alliance scored 25% of the vote and only 22 seats. It's different now because of what happened at the last election. As a result of the polarised vote and it's generally even spread, plus...

We used to play their 3rds way back when. So three Sunday teams. Sad decline in Sundays, alas.

[Football] Non-Albion transfers & transfer gossip

Has to be the twin pylons, surely. I used to find it amusing how many folk thought that the Watford Gap was actually at Watford. Probably the football song sung in the most ignorance.

Most impressive. The yellow one is an outlier and breaks the 'Only Brighton & Hove buses' rule. Back in 1974, when I was in hospital, my parents knew what to get me. I didn't have the original, but wanted to get one if it still existed. I found it online a few weeks back. I've got an EFE...
