The BBC commentator has announced that he wants nothing to do with the World Cup in Russia in two years time -

Good for him, I say. Could this be the first little pebble to fall in an eventual landslide leading eventually to England (and hopefully a...
I know advertising at the top and bottom of the board is a necessary evil, and generally I don't have a problem with it. But I've just been invited to enjoy a 50% discount at the West Ham Club Shop!
Advertising your club shop on another club's message board has got to be beyond the pail, no...
Aussie midfielder Luke Brattan signed by Man. City on a free and loaned straight out to Bolton.

Is this the Aussie midfielder we were apparently interested in?
(Apologies if fixtures - just asking......)
Hi -
It's been great getting e-mails from the club announcing/confirming the new signings - but why wasn't there one for Murphy? Seems a bit hard on the lad, especially as he appears to have been one of the more expensive ones.........
I've seen this question asked a couple of times in threads on here, but no answer yet (not that I've seen anyway). So - why didn't Murphy's arrival warrant an e-mail? I had one for Hunemeier, then complete silence until the e-mail for Goldson.
Anybody any ideas?
Apologies if fixtures, but can't find a thread on it. Statement from the Brentford Board, explaining why Warburton is getting the push:
"As part of a remodelling of the club's football management, a head coach will be appointed to work alongside a new sporting director. The club want the new...
With the sacking of two of our alumni from Barnsley today, that got me thinking of other ex-Brighton players who went into management.
The most successful I guess would be Howard Wilkinson, the last English manager to win the league (with Leeds) and caretaker manager of England.
You'd have to...
Just seen on Sky Sports News that Glasgow Rangers have announced that their crowd against Cowdenbeath on Saturday of 28,000 was 'exaggerated'. After taking into account empty ST holders' seats, the attendance is now officially 19,000.
Setting a precedent?

Rangers' directors throwing a hissey fit over the proposed changes to the Scottish football re-structuring. Three obvious points they've missed:
1). Under the present system, they'll win the fourth division of Scottish football this year; two more promotions and they'll be back in the SPL...
Got to thinking about how far we've come in the last couple of seasons, and thinking about all the ex-Albion players out there - how's this for a team (not including loanees)................

Has our legendary (but largely non-existant) Arsenal connection delivered at last? Caught a brief glimpse on Sky Sport News about a young Arsenal defender signing (on loan?) for us - kept on watching Sky Sports for a bit, but do they care b*gger all about important news when there's golf or...
Tommy (the Who's most famous piece of work, for all the toddlers on here) is 40 years old on Thursday.
...and people are still trying to come up with something better!
Happy Birthday to an iconic piece of music!
With Harty almost certainly missing (according to RS on SCR) next week, it would be a major blow if Dicker was out next week. I've only seen him at Hereford, where quite frankly it was difficult to spot him at all, but by all accounts he's been pretty good since - so, what's the deal with him...
